QuantiFast Multiplex PCR Kits enable fast and reliable quantification of up to 4 cDNA or gDNA targets in a single tube by multiplex, real-time PCR or two-step RT-PCR. Q-bond technology and an optimized master mix promote fast multiplex real-time PCR, not only on fast cyclers with short ramping times, but also on standard cyclers. The combination of a hot start and a unique PCR buffer system in the ready-to-use master mix ensures highly sensitive qPCR on any real-time cycler without the need for optimization. Two kit formats are available: the QuantiFast Multiplex PCR Kit for cyclers that require ROX dye for fluorescence normalization, and the QuantiFast Multiplex PCR +R Kit for all other cyclers. For convenience, the master mix can be stored at 28C.
Accelerate Multiplex PCR PerformanceOptimize your workflow with rapid, simultaneous detection of multiple targets using the QuantiFast Multiplex PCR Kit. Engineered for reliable, fast cycling (under 60 minutes), it facilitates gene expression studies and pathogen identification with robust accuracy and specificity. The hot-start DNA polymerase ensures precise quantification, reducing the risk of non-specific amplifications.
Comprehensive Compatibility and Easy IntegrationThis kit seamlessly integrates with all standard and real-time PCR instruments, enabling versatile usage across platforms. It features reagents and consumables housed in laboratory-grade plastic, contained in a convenient Qiagen-branded box. As a manual, portable kit, it fits a variety of laboratory workflows and infrastructure.
Safe Storage and Reliable Shelf LifeMaintain reagent integrity by storing the kit at -20C and avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles. With proper storage, expect a shelf life of up to 12 months, ensuring consistent, high-quality results for your multiplex PCR applications.
FAQs of Qiagen QuantiFast Multiplex PCR Kit (400):
Q: How do I use the Qiagen QuantiFast Multiplex PCR Kit for my experiments?
A: To use the kit, prepare your PCR reactions with the included 2x Multiplex PCR Master Mix, Q-Solution, and RNase-free water, following the instructions for your sample type (DNA or cDNA) and compatible real-time PCR cycler. Add your primers and probes, and reference dye if needed, then follow the suggested thermal cycling protocol.
Q: What applications is this kit suitable for?
A: This kit is designed for multiplex PCR, enabling gene expression analysis and pathogen detection by targeting multiple DNA sequences in a single reaction. It is highly accurate for quantitative assays requiring high specificity and sensitivity.
Q: When should I use the reference dye included in the kit?
A: The reference dye is used for normalization in real-time PCR, depending on your instruments requirements. Refer to your cyclers guidelines to determine if it is necessary for your experiment setup.
Q: Where can the Qiagen QuantiFast Multiplex PCR Kit be used?
A: This kit is intended for research laboratories equipped with standard or real-time PCR cyclers and is suitable for academic, clinical, or industrial research settings where multiplex quantitative PCR is required.
