The 2060 Monitor for AeRosols and Gases in ambient Air (MARGA) uses ion chromatography to monitor air quality by measuring the concentration of water-soluble gases and aerosols in air containing different sizes of particulate matter. Air is drawn in to the instrument by a vacuum pump at a constant flow rate. Before entering the instrument, the maximum size of particulate matter (PM) can be limited by utilizing a size-selective inlet (e.g. PM 1.0, PM 2.5 or PM 10). The water-soluble gases are absorbed in a Wet Rotating Denuder (WRD) device and then the water-soluble ions in the aerosols are extracted in a Steam-Jet Aerosol Collector (SJAC).
Comprehensive Real-Time Air AnalysisThe 2060 MARGA M provides continuous, high-precision measurement of both aerosols and gases commonly found in ambient air. Its ion chromatography technology captures critical environmental data at hourly or daily intervals, giving users full insight into air composition trends and variations.
Seamless Automation and Remote MonitoringWith its fully automatic calibration and cleaning cycles, the system requires minimal manual intervention. Remote access and monitoring are enabled by integrated software, allowing users to control, check, and export data from any location through Ethernet, USB, or RS232 connectivity.
Reliable Performance in Challenging EnvironmentsEngineered with a robust, corrosion-resistant housing and an integrated cooling system, the 2060 MARGA M operates effectively in extreme temperatures and high humidity. Its leak detection and fail-safe mechanisms ensure uninterrupted, safe operation even under demanding field conditions.
